A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m Taylor VanDerLaan, a graphic designer and illustrator from West Michigan. I create art and stationery that celebrates life’s special moments—from milestone invitations to everyday greeting cards. While I’m passionate about design, my very favorite role in life is being a mom. Most days, you’ll find me exploring God’s beautiful creation with my husband and daughters, shopping for home decor, and indulging in something chocolatey.

HOW I GOT HERE

Creativity has always been part of who I am. As a kid, I loved scrapbooking, designing birthday cards and t-shirts, and even creating over-the-top PowerPoint presentations. After briefly exploring the medical field in college, I discovered my true passion in graphic design. I worked in corporate design for a few years before we had kids—now I’m grateful to stay home with them full time and squeeze in design work during naps and grandma days.

In recent years, I’ve had the joy of licensing designs through Minted, Greenvelope, and Pottery Barn Teen. One of my greeting cards is even on shelves at Target stores nationwide (a dream come true!), and you can find more of my work in local gift shops around West Michigan.

MY DESIGN STYLE

My work is inspired by natural textures, vintage finds, and cozy interiors. I love experimenting with different styles—from elegant typography to playful illustrations.
